Traveling should be about getting the local experience and immersing in their culture. At I'm in Town, members cater their favourite places into spectacular adventures for others to follow. Find journeys specific to your interests, and get opinions from people who live there. Create your own journey in the city you love.
I find the largest problem with traveling is cliche sightseeing. Every city has a few 'photo must' places that tells the world where you are, rather than experience a culture from the point of view of the people who live there.
I'm in Town was developed with a target market of young adults to middle-aged travelers that really want a local experience. It is a crowd sourced app that enables an user to be both a traveler and a tour guide, to join and create journeys that include multiple destinations. Unlike review sites, there are no conflicting love/hate critiques, but only a single prespective that is matched up to the user from a filter system - linking both the person's travel interests and personal similiarities.
